Be Ruthless to the Things that Don't Matter
Have you ever felt that you are in a constant hurry yet you never seem to be achieving anything? The daily stoic calls on a very simple hard truth that we waste a lot of time on things that do not matter. The following is the major point summarized:
Defend Your Time: Get the invitation to mindlessly scroll or all-purpose drama with a no. Neither is it selfish, it is necessary. Every action that you commit consumes some of your small resources in terms of time and energy.
Make Room for What Counts: Each no to a distractor is a purchase of time with which to utter no in the real things and the things you really care about. You can not say yes to everything.
Learn to Be Comfortable with the Ugliness: It is difficult to say no. It can be uncomfortable or disillusion them. However, this small inconvenience will be the only option to have control over their timetable.
In a summary: No longer have your day determined by others and accidental evils. Silence the noise brutally and you get freedom to work on whatever makes your life better.
